Hi, my name is Melissa

Hi there! I am an Upstate New Yorker living in Florida. Man is it different, but so nice to be able to go outside and enjoy sunshine almost year round. Being able to photograph all that this lovely state has to offer year round isn't half bad either.

Growing up, photography was all around me. My mother took pictures of my brother and I all of the time! I still have all of my photo albums she made for me; "Melissa through the years" (basically :) ) I enjoy looking at them and so do my kids. My son's favorite book is the one I made for him for his third birthday filled with images from the day he was born to the day he found out he was going to be a big brother. After my son was born, that is when my desire to capture every moment happened. He's growing up way too fast, and so are his three sisters. All those wonderful fleeting moments captured for us to look back on. What life is in that moment, whether that be full of peace or full of chaos, those moments don't last forever. Images to have to cherish and pass on through generations. 

I can not wait to be able to capture those fleeting moments of yours! Those raw, honest, once in a lifetime moments that you and your family will get to look back on for generations. Thank you for allowing me to help make these memories with your family.
